Last weekend, we visited my aunt and uncle at their cottage in The Kawarthas. We were lucky with the weather, and my sons and nephews got to go water tubing on both days.
I think it is fair to say that these two cousins did not share the same comfort level with the activity.
Tubing gave Matt a perma-grin.

Spectacular wipe-outs were part of the fun.
My brother-in-law asked me why I was working away at making photographs, when the weekend was meant to be a mini vacation. I reminded him of the reason that I had become a professional photographer. “Do what you love, and you will never work another day in your life.”
A garden ornament gave me the opportunity to make a self portrait of sorts. Although, that darn convex mirror makes me look kind of portly. Actually I am quite slim. It’s just the mirror. Really.
