Lauren wanted to do a basic model portfolio portrait session. She needed head shots, 3/4-length and full-length portraits, and she wanted the style to be more fashion oriented than glamour.
Virginia from Beauty on the Go was once again our collaborator on hair and makeup.
Lauren is on a student budget – who isn’t on a budget these days? – so her studio time was limited. Virginia and I figured out some ways to maximum our efficiency, so that we could deliver as much as possible for Lauren. For example, to avoid the cost of two makeup looks, Virginia applied one look in stages; photographing Lauren before her lips were done was a simple way to add variety to her set.
As is my normal practice, Lauren and I communicated several times prior to the shoot, so I knew that she would be bringing along some very camera-friendly dresses.
As usual, these are preview quality images, with no touch ups.
