Lynzy and Lumacraft Reunite ... on the Dark Side

In 2008, Lynzy commissioned me to produce a boudoir album for her. The portraits of her that I made were light, colourful, pretty, and playful … which is how I see Lynzy. The resulting collage album won an Award of Merit at the 2008 National Image Competition of the Professional Photographers of Canada.

I couldn’t be more delighted that Lynzy has commissioned me to produce a second portrait album for her. We realized in our first discussion about it that we both wanted volume two to have a much darker look and mood. We came up with so many exciting image ideas that we have scheduled four photo shoots over the the next few months to cover them all.

Last Sunday we met for session number one. The themes for this session were “Bad Girl Smokes,” “Grimy Building,” and “Sweaty Athletic Girl.” Creative makeup and hairstyling will play a vital role in this project. I am very fortunate that Virginia, Marie’s partner from Beauty on the Go, has signed up to collaborate with us.

Here are a few of my quick picks from album two, session one:
